SOME NZ DULUX SIX DAY RACE PHOTOS AND THE NEW BLOG

NEW CLASSIC NEW ZEALAND RACING BLOG COMING...

I have decided to set up another blog solely dedicated to the history of New Zealand's most famous tours the Wisemans Six Day Tour  1953-58 and the Dulux Six Day Tour 1960-1985, I will also include any info I come across on the later seven day tours until 1990.
It is called The Wolves of the Road.

Anyway for now here are a few of Dulux photos from the collection to get you interested.

I hope to get started on the new blog this week, will keep you posted.

  1. In the bottom photo number 33 is Wellington legend Trevor Rice, with Masterton hardman Brian Lambert just behind him. There was a lot of talk about this photo on Facebook when I posted it, and other names were suggested - I will try and dig up the post for further info. Note the guy on the left of this shot is the same one with puncture in your photo above!
