A SPECIAL COLNAGO

Here is a very nice, and quite special

1984 Colnago Mexico recently imported from Germany

 that has been period modified into a

 specialized Criterium/TT frame.

 

 As you can see it has had it's wheelbase

shortened, been fitted with interesting 

rear facing drop outs,and nice shot in rear stays.

All expertly done, unfortunally I haven't been able

to find the builder who carried out the work.

I have heard there was one working in Germany during the Seventies

and Eighties(?) who modified quite a few Cinelli's.

All and all a very nice frame set, unfortunately not mine.

I just tracked it down and imported it for it's new NZ

owner.
