PINARELLO STREET STOCK BEATER
I picked this Pinarello cheap a while back, it was in pretty good nick, but it had a very boring groupset on it which was promptly stripped off.
I used it occasionally, but wasn't really that enthusiastic about it, until I got this wheel set for 40 bucks off trade me, yeh.I knew I had found just the right wheel set for the Pinarello,so with a head of steam up, I painted the front and rear forks with a rattle can, threw a bit a of pin stripping/skull on the forks and Wha La my very own street beater
Sprayed some Hoosier stencils on the rims to add a bit of seventies street stock style
Love that SR royal chainset, Brooks professional of course, what other saddle is there?
THE FLYING WHEEL ESPRESSO BAR AND SHOP/HANGOUT
Some new woods I am going to build into wheel sets for the shop (and a set for myself of course).
Red anodized GB Courier brake set, so pretty.
Here are some photos of The Flying Wheel Espresso Bar, it's not quite open yet, although I have been banging out a lot of coffees for friends and helpers.
I have built this at the back of my wives second hand book shop The Little Red Book Shop.
On one side of the espresso bar I have some of my memorabilia and historic cycle racing collection on display.
On the other side I have cycle/ motorbike gear and other general things of interest for sale.

NEW PROJECTS AND A NOS TI RALEIGH
The McLaren M1c Project
This is an unknown frame I picked up a few years ago,it was set up in late sixties/early seventies English TT trim when I found it. I am pretty sure this was a custom built TT frame as it doesn't have a indent on the bottom rear stay to accommodate a double chain set, as was the English way at the time I believe.
Anyway I had this idea many moons ago, to build a homage to Bruce Mclaren's beautiful M1 series of racing cars. As I have no idea what this frame is, although I do know it was a purpose built competition bike, I figure this will make the perfect donor frame set.
I will make just two of these up, one for me and one for sale, so let me know if this is a bit of you.

My mate Max's Holdsworth, which I am finally just getting finished (sorry about the wait pal)
I think he is going to build it up with French style dimpled guards and old Nuvo Record.
Should look real nice, I will post photos when it's all done.
Another unknown frame set, this one I am building up for the Flying Wheel shop for sale, with Sturmey Archer 3 speed fixed gear on new wooded rims, should be very tasty.
NOS TI RALEIGH
Just about finished this NOS TI Raleigh frame set for Max's son Jim (lucky lad).

I found this frame last year, it had never been ridden, but the paint had got damaged back in the seventies when it was new, so it had been repainted white, and then left in the back room, until I found it.

VINTAGE LEAD TDF CYCLISTS AND A BOOTFULL OF WOODS.
These vintage
French lead Tour De France riders were given to me a few years ago. I
have used one of them to make a cast, so far I have manged to make the
riders pretty successfully. The one on the yellow jersey is one I made,
but the bikes are proving quite a bit more of a challenge, I will have
to work out a way to spin cast them I think.
I am moving my workshop at the moment, thought this was a pretty cool image, all my woods I have collected over the years, plus a few new sets out of Italy.

1964 HONDA 305 RACE BIKE
Here is my '64 Honda 305 (now 360) Super Hawk racing bike, I got it a few months back, not running.
My intention is to turn it into a dirty 'ol road bike.
My intention is to turn it into a dirty 'ol road bike.
Apparently the oil seals where all history after it sitting around parked up for over twenty years, and when the guy I brought it off got it going, it spewed oil all over the place.
Of course as soon as I got it home, I stripped the carbs (Amals), put in some new petrol, and soon had my two boys pushing me up and down the road. We finally got it going, and as the previous owner had said, oil went everywhere, although I noticed all from the breather on the head.
So I parked it up, and started looking for a rebuild kit for it. Then at work a couple days later it occurred to me that maybe when it had been stored originally, the motor had been filled with oil, to preserve it. As soon as I got home from work that day, I took the bung out and drained over 5 liters of oil from the sump, with just the right amount left still left in.
Well we pushed started it again, and off it went, like a scalded cat...yeah!
Anyway with the open megaphone exhaust howling, I had neighbors looking very worried and giving me some not so neighborly stares after a couple of times around the block!
Now the road bike project starts.....stay tuned.

SIMPLEX "TOUR DE FRANCE"
Here is a little something special I found a couple of years ago, two box's of Simplex Tour De France derailleur spares, and with lots of the parts still intact.
There is enough parts to build complete derailleurs, I have put one together, which worked beautifully.
